I’ve been on Lupron before and it just takes about a week to get into the body system.. Lupron did not work for me at all for my endometriosis and I ended up having a hysterectomy.. If you are going to try to conceive then get off of Lupron first because it causes bad birth defects to the unborn baby.. Getting Lupron out of your system is another thing it took me about 3 months but I took the shot for 6 months so I would say if you have only had one shot then it should not take any longer then a month but I would wait at least 3 months just to be safe. I really feel for you endo hurts like hell and so does the shots of Lupron and the cost of Lupron with out insurance most people cant afford it…

Depending on the dosage and indication (i.e., the use for Endometriosis is different than in IVF; the dosage for prostate cancer is different than the administration for children with precocious puberty, etc.) the washout can vary from 14 – 30 days. In women with Endo, it is typically recommended to allow at least one period to pass before attempting to conceive. Lupron is a category X drug, meaning that it is contraindicated in pregnancy (even though it is used as a fertility drug – mind boggling). Since you used it for Endo, you should be ok to attempt conceiving when your period returns as normal. Good luck.
