I’m installing 600 feet of the snap down, glueless kind this weekend.
Any tips? I’m using the Home Depot in-house brand TrafficMaster

I’m wondering where the best place to purchase hardwood flooring is. I would like to buy it someplace that also will do the installation as well as take up my old carpet. Do I trust someone like Lowe’s or Home Depot? A furniture store that carries hardwood? I want a good price, but I also want a product that will last and someone putting it in who knows what they are doing. Also, my home is an older home and I have decorated it with a lot of antiques. I want a rustic looking hardwood…nothing real high gloss. Any good websites where I can view different kinds of hardwood? Thanks….=)
I want Home Depot or someone else to do it since I just want my kitchen back fast.
I was thinking Peel and Stick tiles. Which Home Depot does or vinyl sheets which home depot installs. Which would be better?
I am a hopeless planner!
Thanks!

I saw the allure vinyl flooring from home depot. Any thoughts?
ok, i am conflicted. i found a beautiful 18×18 travertine tile at home depot at a great price ($2.41 per sq ft). i was planning on installing in the entry, hall, kitchen and dining room. after reading a bit, i am concerned about these scratches, stains, etc that people are writting about. how concerned should i be? if i drop a jar of pickles or a glass of water, will that cause damage? should they be sealed or not and if so, how often? should i skip travertine altogether? is regular marble a better choice? please help…i am so confused!

They used to carry it at home Depot but I am having trouble finding it and I REALLY need it.
I have the basic idea, but I don’t want to leave out any materials on my list that I may need, to avoid that last minute back to the 20 mile away home depot.. Lol, feel me?
So, What materials will I need for the ENTIRE project? -installing the 1/4 round, too.
Please help me finish my list?
Through/full answer gets 10 points and five stars!
Is it possiable to stain or paint a ceramic tile floor. If so what are the steps I need to take to do it.
We laid it about a year ago. My husband picked it out and it just does not look good next to the other tile he put in. I would hate to rip it out and lay a new one.
Would the paint sets you buy at home depot for your garage floors work?
We just recently used the “allure vinyl plank flooring” from home depot -looks like laminate”. It was supposed to be easy, but my husband said it was kind of a pain because you had to cut every piece and the vinyl planks were really kind of tough to cut. We need something durable. We have 3 small children and a puppy. We also need something fairly cheap. We haven’t ever installed laminate. Is it hard?
I’ve been to Home Depot and Lowes already, and by some freakish coincidence they don’t have it. I’m looking for a fairly inexpensive light-colored wood laminate flooring. I want to install it myself, though. Are there any stores that carry that besides the ones mentioned?
Do they charge by square yard or what?
My husband and I are closing on our new house Wednesday. The kitchen still has the old laminate flooring from the 50’s, and I want to give it a TEMPORARY, inexpensive, face lift. If I went to Menards or Home Depot and purchased their self-sticking tiles, would I be able to lay those over the current laminate?
As I prepare to finish my basement, what is the best method for attaching the sole plates to the conrete floor? I don’t have a hammer-drill, nor one of those professional nail guns. Is there a way to do it without fancy tools? Or am I going to have to ‘rent’ from Home Depot or something?
Thx
If you’ve done this, what do you wish you’d known, that you know now? Will taking a class at Home Depot do it for me, teach me everything I need to know?Did your floor turn out pretty good? Thanks for your time.
Ok, I have a 10×10 area that needs to be covered. I have set up an enclosed area in my living room for my airbrush tanning business. I cannot take a chance on ruining the existing carpet, so I need something 10×10 to put over it. I cannot find a 10×10 rug. (And if I could, it would be way too expensive) The man at Home Depot says cutting vinyl or carpet to that size would roll up on me. I htought about sheets, but they would get to crumpled under the feet. HELP! I need an idea!
