What jobs are good for women who are shy & introverted, but have a bubbly personality?
I am about to graduate with a finance major and I am trying to figure out what avenue to go when finding my first job. I am shy and introverted, so that can affect my job choices. Some examples: my communication skills are getting better, but sometimes I will stutter a lot- that does not mean I’m not intelligent, its just part of being introverted. I prefer to work alone, around small groups, or one on one (I actually would like a desk job or a cubicle job). I am happy not having the “weight of the world” on my shoulders at a job (ie being a manager) but I do take my responsibilities seriously. I love to help others. I don’t like to pester people ( cold calling) or try to “trick” them into buying something they do not need. I want to work for an ethical company that treats its employees with respect. I prefer not to job hop (I’ve kept my job for over seven years). I have thought about retail (sears, jc penney, home depot, lowes), receptionist, or secretary. My only complaint about those is the pay is bad (<$10/hr.) Since I will have a BA in Finance, I should be getting paid at least $12-15 if not more (commissions make me very nervous though). I enjoy planning things and love the little things in life. I’m a great listener and I prefer to think before I speak. I am intelligent (3.25 GPA & 127 IQ) A job that does training would be great. I would like to do something in the Finance field, but most of that is commissions and there are not a lot of entry level positions. I love learning new things, although at first a might take me a little longer than others because I want to know the topic well. I do have 5 years of management experience. Working at a university is a good option for me too. I don’t like being in the spot light, but I don’t have to be completely invisible either. Based on the criteria above (good and bad- some personality traits cannot be changed- I’ve tried), what kind of jobs should I apply for?
PS- I’ve been contacted by several insurance companies, but people who know me best don’t see me as a salesperson.
Thank you!
Please do not reply to my questions if you are not being serious or trying to get me to go to your webpage. It’s rude and disrespectful.

Anyone know of a good floor cleaning solution to remove old yellow wax?
I realize there is a nice sturdy linoleum floor underneath the yellow acrylic topcoat of the kitchen floor in the older home I purchased. I’ve tried ZEP from Home Depot with a floor scrubber and I’ve tried to scrape by hand. I figure by 2010 I should be done doing it this way !!! Is there anything available to purchase that’s stronger which would allow me to do this job myself a bit easier? Thanks…
whats a good air freshener for the A/C?

How do you make a good solar panel?
I’m thinking about making a nice little solar panel (not cell), any help?
Allowed:
Purchases of solar cells
purchase of other stuff (ie copper flashing’s, wires, etc.)
usage of basic non-electric tools
purchase of any material you can find at a local Home Depot/Walmart
Not allowed:
purchase/usage of electric tools (They scare me)
kits <(this is the big one)
I’m not sure if I can get my hands on a battery or meter thing or whatnot
No kits!
Anyways, I’m planning to buy cells on ebay, that might help
The panel doesn’t have to be macho, it’s just a little experiment… I’ll be perfectly fine with anything that makes over 3 volts/watts/whateverthestandardunitis and it doesn’t have to last more than a year
Do any of the building stores such as home depot make good self assembly kitchen cabinets?
The ones they call flatbox cabinets that you put together yourself and then put together yourself and then pick a door style? Rona, Home Depot, Loes, they all have them, just curious about their quality.
What are some good ideas for jobs with benefits?
In the first place, I have only “some” college, meaning I didn’t graduate. I’m not planning on going back any time soon, because I can’t afford it, and right now I really don’t WANT to (I loathed college even more than high school).
Right now I have a crummy job that I like well enough, but just isn’t meeting my needs. I make less than $8/hour, have no benefits and a really crappy schedule. I have plenty of work experience, such as cashiering, assistant managing at a retail store, working for a newspaper, and office/secretarial work.
I’m 24 and still live at home, and I REALLY want to change that. The only real reason I still do is because of money, and health insurance. (I can stay on my father’s policy as long as they provide half my living expenses.) Because of a heart condition I’ve had since birth, I CANNOT go without medical – my daily meds would cost $150/month, and my twice-annual cardio check-ups would cost $400/visit – no way I can afford that!
So I’m trying to find some suitable jobs that offer good pay (better than my lousy $7.50/hour) and benefits. I’ve enlisted nearly everyone I know to help me brainstorm, but I still need ideas. Banks? The Postal service? (Already checked there – no openings, but they have me on file.) Even Lowe’s & Home Depot – just SOMETHING.
Can anyone help me come up with some other places or types of places to look?
Oh, and the Military is out for obvious reasons – I’d never pass a physical with my heart. Besides, it’s DEFINITELY not for me.

What’s a good shower head to get a better, high-pressure/high-velocity shower?
After searching around in places like Home Depot and Loews, I could only find shower heads that used 2.5 gallons per minute, and all of these resulted ina very mild pressure shower. Without redoing the whole shower plumbing system, is there a way to tweak a shower head, or buy a shower head, that will deliver more water faster? The only thing I’ve tried so far is to plug up some of the holes, resulting in very slightly higher pressure from the other holes.
