They are the absolute pitts. Pet peeves:they insist on leaving a message on your home phone and contacting you there when you tell them you cell phone number & work number and emphasize that you work. Usually one is bounced back to the operator 3 times when calling the store. Even when one is in store.. no clerks available to help.. What bliss it would be to have Hechingers back! or any other stroe to give them some competition.. guess they feel secure in having a monopoly in Annapolis.. but I am ready to go the extra miles to Lowe’s. Not sure what happened but morale of workers is not good and it affects the customer.

Can I get an antique car key cut at Home Depot or Lowe’s?

I have a 1957 Oldsmobile 98 and I need to get my ONLY remaining key duplicated.
My question is, can I walk in there with my key blanks (I have 4, 2 for the ignition, 2 for the doors/trunk) and will they be able to cut it for me? I mean like an actual working key, because if my remaining blanks get screwed up I can’t get more.

pop machine soda machines what ever you call them, i remember a few years back i always saw pop machines for sale in home depot and lowes but never had the cash now i do and i want to buy one? so do they, do any hardware stores still sell them?
how long after someone from home depot comes to measure for carpet will the carpet actually get installed?

1) Q: What kind of court do you sue electricians in?
A: Circuit court
2) A guy goes to the Home Depot to buy a circuit breaker panel. Just then, an electrician, also shopping for supplies, walks by him in the same aisle. The guy asks the electrician, “Sir, is there anything else I need to buy with this?” The electrician, obviously clued-in that the guy doesn’t know what he’s doing, says “Yeah, how about life insurance”.
3) A plumber is replacing all the old water pipes in a house. He solders all the valves and large fittings, but does not solder any of the small elbows and caps. After he says that he’s finished the job, his boss turns on the water supply. Water shoots out everywhere, making a huge mess. His boss discovers that the plumber didn’t solder half of the fittings. When his boss questions him about that, he says “They always say, don’t sweat the small stuff!”

It’s the type of trim that connects wood flooring to a higher flooring of lanolium, anyone know where to find this type of material, it’s also called reducer trims, or something like that. Help anyone?

I have seen in hotels and some other places an A/C unit that doesn’t require a window, and is mounted on the ceiling/wall. Does anyone know what they are called, and where I can find some? Links to sites that would sell them (home depot or lowes) would be great too. Thanks!
EDIT: Doing it because my dad doesn’t want to use a window unit since burglers can get in that way. I saw a nice one at a hotel and thought it would be nice, and it did a great job cooling…and was small.
