I’m looking at photoprinters at office depot because I have a gift certificate. Many of the printers say that they print at the same resolution but the prices are very different. If all of the printers can print at the same resolution shouldn’t I just get the cheapest printer. The guy at the store is telling me that he swears by a 150.00 hp but the features say almost the same thing as the “step down” 100.00. printer. The only difference looks like the size of the lcd screen on each printer…Am I missing something? What should I be looking for?

Can you use Transparent Photo Paper in an inkjet?
I want to purchase transparent photo paper from Joann Fabrics. I wrote and asked if it would work in an inkjet. I know nothing about printers and less about transparent photo paper. When I submitted the question it gave no indication of actually being submitted and I didn’t receive an email. I seen on ehow before that you can purchase it with an adhesive on the back. They suggested looking at Office Depot. So, I looked on their website- nothing. I looked on Office Max- nothing. Okay, so my questions are, can you use transparent photo paper in an inkjet; Canon Fine Pixma? Also, does anyone know where I can find TPP with an adhesive backing? Thank you
On second thought, can someone just let me know if I can or can’t print transparent photo film on a Canon Fine Inkjet Pixma?
How the hell should I know? What would be helpful is, if you told me where to find that out.
Please Judge my Photo work?

Photo lights question?
I have some shots I need to take and very low budget. I plan to just use a couple spotlight fixtures and buy bulbs at home depot or target. Any suggestions what kind of bulbs to use?
Photo positions at CVS, Walgreens and RiteAid stores?
Okay, so I quit my last job at Office Depot last month. I was a general all-around person there, cross-trained in Supplies, Furniture, Tech, Front End and Design and Print Center.
I did the best in Tech and Design and Print. I have 3 years of Customer Service/Cashier experience…and obviously, I’m really good with anything related to Technology and general printing (various paper types, etc.) I’ve recently taken an interest in trying to get hired for Photo at a CVS, Walgreens or RiteAid. How hard is it to get into this position? I know there is usually one or two people that get in the position and stay there for a very long time (hence, job openings can be hard to find). What are the chances of me getting such a position? I know everyone doesn’t just automatically start with ‘experience’ in Photo, when you have to get that training from somewhere. Surely they started off and got trained while in the position. Any feedback on this? Does it start off full-time or part-time
…and which should I choose on the application? I know that some places start off part-time before you can become full-time, after you are trained. Which one should I check on the application to ‘improve’ my hiring chances? I know that some places won’t call you if you put down that you are looking for full-time, if all that they have is a part-time; they’d assume you aren’t interested in it. Likewise, if you put down part-time and they have a full-time opening…I’d assume that they may think you don’t have the availability for a full-time position, and might skip over your application. I know that some applications have the option to check both. I’ll be putting this in online…however, I’m not sure if it will let me check both or not. Any ideas from anyone who actually works there?
Will the ink cartridges from a Lexmark X3350 work in a Dell Photo 924?
The cartdiges are identical but Dell says that you can only get the ones for the Dell printer through Dell.com The guy at Office Depot said that some Lexmark cartridges will work in some Dell printers. Anybody know?

I’m in SF and I’m not sure where to start searching- Don’t want to trek out by bus to a Home depot, and I’m afraid a specialty tiler place will turn me away if I’m not buying a kitchen floor. Any quick ideas?

What’s wrong with pipe / drainage system for my backyard (photo)?

How do I fix the puddling?
This was installed a couple of weeks ago. What’s shown is the end of the drainage systmen pipe. It ends on a slight downward slope with a “U” joint bringing it flush with the surface (pipe is normally covered leaving the end exposed and covered with grate). It ends just before a wall that leads to the front yard. The pipe is solid plastic, no holes like I’ve seen available at Home Depot. The water pools inside the pipe at its end and is somehow leaking, or at leat I think leaking is the cause, into the surrounding area. The pipe doesn’t fill enough to spill over.
The problem was much worse when I discovered it as it had been seeping into the ground for a couple of weeks. The ground surrounding the end of the pipe was very mushy. I vaccummed the water from the pipe and around the puddles. I’ve reattached the pipes hoping to get a tighter connection.
Help!!!
How do I change a photo that was saved as a Adobe Acrobat document to a jpg file?

Where can I find 8×10 photo paper?
I am sending out submissions for a movie & a TV show this week, but I can’t find the 8×10 size photo paper I need to print my headshots on. I’ve checked Office Depot and Walmart, but all I am able to find is 8.5×11, and the industry standard is 8×10. So do you know where I can find 8×10 photo paper & what company makes it?
Thank you very much!
Where can I find glass for my Photo Frame?
I am doing a little in-home project thingy and I ordered materials to create a photo frame for a huge picture. However I need to get glass to complete my photo frame and don’t know where to look for it. Home depot doesn’t seem to have it. Please help!
What can I do in a program like Photoshop to prepare a photo so it will photocopy properly?
Laser printers and inket printers can print photos perfectly, but if I then want to photocopy the printout, copy machines really ruin photos. I’ve tried a variety of copy machines at Kinko’s, Office Depot, etc, but I never get what looks like a photo. Surely, Photoshop or some other program can break the image into something that a copy machine can reproduce. I’ve tried converting to halftone pattern with no luck. Any ideas?
