The military will sometimes restore military equipment instead of purchasing new equipment. These programs can be called Service Life Extension Programs (SLEP), remanufacture (REMAN) programs, or recapitalization (RECAP) programs. For example, the HMMWV is remanufactured (REMAN) at the U.S. Army depots. I am looking for assessments of these programs and examples of where the procurement of new equipment proved less costly than remanufacture.

Anyone interested in doing an independent national customer service survey?
I would like to gather data on peoples experiences in national chains such as Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes, Olive Garden, Chilis, Taco Bell, Sears, Red Lobster and so on.
My idea is to compile a team of researchers that can collect the data, a team that can interpret the data and a team that can conclude the data and submit.
Looking to focus on only one national domestic company at a time. Looking for someone to create an easily understood survey on customer service and volunteers to answer the survey.
With enough responce I am hoping that the volunteers surveying the company of choice will be diverse (male, female, married, single, divorced, all ethnic groups, different states, shoping with children, shoping without children…….)
If interested in being a volunteer or a team member please respond
When you take your computer to Office Depot for a diagonistic/antivirus service, what do they do?
My father is taking this computer in to get all the virus problems removed, but I’m nervous about if they’ll look into our private files. Y’know, social security, downloaded private files, personal documents. What exactly does this service provide and look into?
