so there is junk that my computer came with that i don’t need – so i’m planning to take my computer tower to office depot or somewhere so the people canget that junk off and update me to windows 7 and fix any problems with it. My only issue is privacy. will they be able to see my personal files? will they be able to track my internet surfing? (even if the history was deleted) will they be able tell if i have downloaded or uploaded anything? will they be able to use my IP address to track any of this? what exactly is the IP address? my tower won’t be pluged to the internet when i take it (unless they plug it up to internet there) and i won’t bring my monitor – they would plug it up to one when i take the tower to them.

How long does sod take to take root? and….abt new sod?

How long before I can ignore it and have my auto sprinkler system take care of it.
When I water sod everyday, is it necessary to lift it up and water the ground below it? Suppose I am watering 10 sq feet with a hose, how long should I water the area?
Can I use Scotts starter for the soil below as fertilizer and Scotts Enriched lawn soil as the soil below? Any experience with these products? They work? Any substitutes?
Any tips when I go to buy sod? Does Home Depot sell it anymore?
Do I stay at this job or take another one?

I have to work 2 jobs and I currently work at Home Depot part time as a cashier for my 2nd job. Depot has great benefits (I have great vision insurance and am thinking of getting stock since the housing market will get better). However, lately, working at Depot has been hard on my feet (I have to work 8 hours on Saturday and I’m not exactly a petite girl so its hard on my feet) and the store is always hot and I’m dog tired from standing and being hot the entire day and cannot do anything but sit/sleep when I get off. Well I got another job offer at a car dealership up the street from me that is a receptionist job a few nights a week and weekends. I would be taking a $1.20 paycut, but I would get off at 9 pm instead of 10 through the week and its 5-10 minutes away from me whereas Depot is 15-20 minutes away. I will not get any benefits/stock because they do not offer it to part time employees. I took the job and gave my notice, but my supervisor at Depot does not want me to leave and said I’m a great cashier. She offered to give me a 6 hour shift on Saturday if that would make it easier on my standing. I am confused as to what to do…both have pro’s and con’s, but in the end I am at a standstill.

With all the excitement of the upcoming election, My 9 year old son is all of a sudden really interested in the democratic process and learning about the history of US politics. He is a huge fan of Barack Obama and actually watches ballot bowl with us! I thought it would be great to take him down to Washington DC (we live in NY) and visit the usual tourist haunts and learn something as well as have some fun. Since we won’t be driving I’m hoping to find a hotel that wont break the bank and is close enough to the attractions for us to hop on a bus or train – we don’t mind a long ride, as long as we can get to a depot or station pretty easily from the hotel. I’m also looking for suggestions on kid friendly restaurants and what sites are must sees and which are OK to miss. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I just received Magnacare insurance from my job Restaurant Depot. It’s union insurance. My problem is I can’t find any info on who I can and cannot go to. My job has no info pertaining to it because they are completely unorganized when it comes to union information. Just wondering if anyone else has this type of insurance and if they could give me any info. Also I live in st.louis, MO.

Is it safe to take a bus to the Home Depot Center? How would a zone add on work with an all day pass?

I’ll be visiting LA. I’d really like to see a soccer match at the Home Depot Center. My hotel is downtown. Is it safe to ride the bus from the HDC to downtown?
Also, how does adding a zone affect the price of a $5 all day pass on the Metro system? How would I pay for that. Thanks!
