I had the interview at walmart today, the personel manager was not friendly as I expected, she acted that “I’m the manager”. She didn’t introduce herself or give a chance to shake hand, not very professional. I followed her to the room and she told me to sit down. I saw 4 people were doing the training or learning kind on the computer in that room. There were a guy with lots of tatoo, wearing a t-shirt was being interviewed on the other end of my table.

So, another lady came (I found out later, she was a beauty supplies manager) and told me to check all info on the papers, make sure they were all correct and initialed them. Then she asked me questions of what were difficult times etc..

At the end of interview, she told me what time could I come on monday for a second interview. What will this be about? I applied to work for Walmart because this is my first job ever. I would prefer working for Home Depot, they at least had a private room when interview applicant.
I had my second intervie­w today and they offered me the job with $7.25 an hour, too low for partime cashier?

I had my drug test done and my orientation will be next week.

No 3rd interview but didn’t explain much about benefit package that came with it.

Anyway, just glad that I have a job.
